Solar Eclipse in Virgo, September 1st, 2016

On September 1st, we have a powerful New Moon Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees Virgo.  
 
The aspects at the time of this Eclipse remind me of the opening of Charles Dickens’ novel, A Tale of Two Cities:

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us… 
How are you perceiving your world?
Two opposing types of aspects are happening:
DARKNESS: The T-square with Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Sun and Moon is a vortex of potential drama, fearmongering and negativity.
LIGHT: The conjunction of Mercury with Jupiter and Venus in Libra sees the higher, bigger perspective and focuses on bringing more love and light to every situation, no matter how challenging it may appear.
Which one will you choose?
Are you allowing your outer world to disrupt your inner peace?

Saturn conjunct Mars could bring situations that are potentially frustrating and might test your patience. As it is square to Neptune, people may say one thing one day and then change their mind the next day.

I observed myself starting to get frustrated with the person at the call centre of my bank who was giving me completely different information than the person I spoke to the previous day. Remember to breathe and allow whatever is unfolding before you just to ‘be.’ If you can do this, you’ll maintain your inner peace and thus prevent outer circumstances from upsetting your inner world.

One person may look at their world and perceive perfection while another sees nothing but misery.

With Mercury retrograde conjunct to Jupiter, instead of getting sucked into the drama, you can choose a positive outlook and see whatever is unfolding in your life from a larger perspective and not get lost in the everyday details.

Mercury is retrograde until September 22nd, and with seven planets in mutable signs, you may find that you are not able to firm up your plans just yet. Being flexible and inviting change are ways of dealing with this energy in a positive way.

The advantage with so many mutable planets is that you can also change your mind more easily. If you find yourself getting into a negative spiral, and you feel your energy level dropping, distract yourself and find something positive to focus upon.

Venus is in Libra offering harmony and peace. If you look for it, you’ll find it even in the most extreme situations.

Aquarius Full Moon August 18th 2016

On August 18th, we have a Full Moon that is almost a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius at 25 degrees. It’s heralding the eclipse season which officially starts on September 1st with the Solar Eclipse in Virgo. Expect some BIG CHANGES! 
 
Aquarius is all about BEING YOURSELF!! Not only is the Sun in Aquarius, but it is trine to Uranus and the Moon is sextile to Uranus making this an extra-special time to awaken, to see the world differently and to stop worrying what others think.

In my last newsletter, I asked you whether you would prefer the channeling videos to be on a separate channel to the astrology ones. The overwhelming vote was to keep everything TOGETHER.

Neptune is square to Saturn, sometimes causing issues with water. My hot water boiler suddenly sprang a leak covering my entire bathroom with boiling hot water. Luckily, I managed to turn the mains off and the plumber arrived shortly afterwards.

Perhaps it’s a new romance, a change encounter, a business idea with masses of potential that suddenly starts to move forward. You begin to meet ‘just the right people’ to move everything forward.

New Moon in Leo, August 2nd, 2016 | Loving You

On August 2nd we have a New Moon at 10 degrees Leo with many planets in Fire signs.
FIRE is ACTION, EXCITEMENT, INSPIRATION!
This quote by Jay Griffiths, author, aptly describes the energy of Leo the LION:
‘All humans are essentially wild creatures and hate confinement. We need what is wild, and we thrill to it, our wildness bubbling over with an anarchic joie de vivre….The more suffocatingly enclosed we are – tamed by television, controlled by mortgages and bureaucracy – the louder our wild genes scream in aggression, anger and depression.
 
With no planets in AIR signs, how about ignoring that voice in your head that keeps telling you that you cannot do it and going with your wild side??
Each zodiac sign rules a particular body part and Leo rules the heart. 
Recent research shows the heart as the most powerful electrical and magnetic field generator in the human body. Although the brain does hold its own electromagnetic field, it pales in comparison to the field strength of the heart. Studies show that the heart is 100,000 times electrically stronger and 5,000 times magnetically stronger than the brain.

The heart is the first organ to function after conception. Within about 20 days after conception, the heart starts to function, but the brain does not function until after roughly 90 days. This information tells us that the brain is possibly secondary to the heart.

What can you do to open your heart at the time of this New Moon?
Saturn is square to Neptune bringing up issues of boundaries. Are your boundaries clear or are they fuzzy? Are people stepping over your boundaries? If so, how can you communicate from your heart while at the same time being clear about what works for you?
This is the challenge of the New Moon in Leo.
New Moons always give you an opportunity to do something new. The Fire signs are bold, daring and courageous. What can you do to add spice to your life?
I took a risk by publishing a video of Summer Bacon, my wonderful channeling teacher and myself having a conversation that we weren’t aware was being recorded! 
At first, we both wanted to edit out the parts we felt made us look silly, but in the end, we decided that if we were discussing channeling – which is all about being vulnerable and surrendering – we had to set the example and not shy away from people possibly rejecting or turning away from us.
Why is it that OUTTAKES are so fascinating? Because it’s when we make mistakes that shows our humanity. We are always trying to hold things together, keep the status quo. How about allowing yourself to be SEEN this month?
Uranus is trine to Venus bringing surprise encounters, exciting new liaisons, sudden meetings with interesting people.
What can you do that brings some FIRE and COLOUR into your life?
Feeling FREE and having a certain ‘joie de vivre’ is the key to good health and happiness.
I am reminded of my beautiful osteopath who was born before the war and who still practices her profession with great passion and joy. I asked her what is the secret to her youth and her strength. She said she derives JOY from the SIMPLEST things in life. Where can you find JOY today??

New Moon in Gemini – Say Something I’m Giving Up on You

On June 4th / 5th we have a New Moon in Gemini at 14 degrees 

 
Venus is conjunct this New Moon asking you to communicate with LOVE. 

The challenging aspect is a Mutable T square to Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune.

Let’s see how you can use these aspects to your advantage.

The OPPOSITION TO SATURN is asking you to concentrate your attention in your relationships. When you are with someone, give them your full focus. Try to break the habit of thinking about something else, a meeting you need to go to, an email you need to write etc, but instead, even if it’s just for a half hour, give that person ALL of you.

You’ll be surprised at how much this can improve your relationships.

Saturn in Sagittarius is reminding you to share what is important to you, and Venus in Gemini is asking you to be mindful of speaking in a loving way.

All too often we walk away from a relationship without ever speaking what is in our heart. Can you make it a daily habit to express something verbally to one new person?

Many relationships are ended by text or email without the courtesy of a phone call or better still, meeting in person. This New Moon is giving you a new opportunity to bring a more personal and loving touch to your relationships.

I make it my business to tell my friends regularly: I love you, I am so grateful to have you in my life, I loved our chat today, etc. The opposition is asking you to become aware of how you are seeing your relationships. What are your typical behaviour patterns, practice focusing on what IS working rather than what isn’t and watch your relationships will blossom and grow.  

 
The SQUARE TO JUPITER may show you that perhaps you aren’t really listening to the people in your life, or you may feel as though you aren’t being heard. The key, again, is to make sure that you REALLY LISTEN and don’t jump to conclusions before you have truly heard the other person.
Often we are ready with our comments and we butt in far too soon, giving the person a feeling of being rushed or just not valued, and this creates tension and disharmony in relationships.

With all these mutable planets, this is an amazing time for great change that can happen in the twinkling of an eye. If you are prepared to be flexible and to speak from your heart, you can transform your life completely during 2016.

The SQUARE TO NEPTUNE will encourage you to find the balance between honest reality and adorning the truth to make things sound better than they actually are. If you have made a mistake, own up! If you don’t know the answer to a question, say ‘I don’t know!’  People appreciate  

With a strong focus on Gemini and Sagittarius, you are being encouraged to examine your thinking patterns. When you send a text or an email, are you sending it with a thought of love? Your intentions create the kinds of results you experience. Why not try this for a month and see what effect it has on your relationships? 
This New Moon reminds me of the song: Say Something I’m Giving up on You. My friend told me a very sad story of loving a man so very much when she was in her twenties and she never told him she loved him. She thought he had a girlfriend and she held it in for many decades. They recently reconnected and she did finally tell him and he asked her – why didn’t you tell me then? That could have changed everything because I loved you too but I was afraid of telling you because your dad was my boss. It turned out that he didn’t have a girlfriend at the time either.

All those years, and the love was unexpressed. To whom could you say ‘I love you,’ so that it doesn’t stagnate inside.

This New Moon is a great opportunity to say that you care, to say when something feels good, to say what really matters to you.   

Sometimes it involves a great risk. For me, it felt like a huge risk to tell you about the channelling, but I did it anyway. I’d like to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to so many of you who emailed me with supportive and encouraging feedback. Your encouragement helps me to keep going and to keep on opening up. I would still do it anyway, but knowing that so many of you are by my side really does help!!

 

Sagittarius Full Moon May 21st

On May 21st, we have a Full Moon at 1 degree Sagittarius.

Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter is often seen as a ‘lucky’ sign, and those with a prominent Jupiter / Sagittarius element in their charts are often fortunate.

Why?

Sagittarius is about WIDENING Your Horizons. Looking beyond where you are now and into the future. Ask yourself, WHAT IS POSSIBLE? What if nothing was impossible?

Not only do we have this Full Moon in Sagittarius on May 21st, we have another Full Moon in Sagittarius on June 20th. Keywords: JOY, EXPANSION, GROWTH, NEW HORIZONS.

Mutable energies are very strong, possibly causing you to be clear one moment and fuzzy the next. At the same time, this is a wonderful opportunity for transforming your life.

Just over six months ago, desperate, feeling bereft after the break-up of a very close relationship, in physical as well as mental and emotional pain, I knew there had to be MORE than I was currently seeing and I prayed for guidance.

Little did I know the AMAZING NEW HORIZONS that would open up as a result of my openness and willingness to surrender to whatever came up.

Although I feel reluctant and somewhat nervous to share with you what’s been happening with me, I am being guided that this is the right time to make a start. So here goes!

Many of you have noticed some radical changes in my appearance and in the quality of my videos, and maybe you wondered what was happening.

A few months ago, I started to do trance channelling. To be honest, I didn’t quite know what it was, except for following the teachings of Esther Hicks and Abraham, and Lee Carroll and Kryon from time to time.

Luckily, I found a wonderful teacher, Summer Bacon an expert trance medium who has been channelling the beautiful spirit, Dr. Peebles, for over 20 years. She showed me the basics about releasing my breath to spirit and then learning how to release my vocal chords to allow the information to come through me.

She said that this can take many months, even years to accomplish, so imagine my surprise when on the VERY FIRST DAY, I could feel spirit / God come through me, breathe through me, and try to talk through me. It was the strangest and the most wonderful experience of my life. Within a few days, I was being told that the Pleaidians were coming through.

Since then, every day, for at least 3 hours, sometimes up to 16 hours, I am practicing and enjoying the adventure that is always new and pushes me beyond my boundaries.

I am channelling paintings (and I never painted anything in my life), but people seem to love them. My body has changed completely and is still changing, my diet has changed, my sleeping patterns have changed… Nothing has stayed the same.

Emotionally, the fear has gone, (I suffered from severe OCD), and has been replaced by an overwhelming feeling of love, gratitude, joy and compassion.

The healing hasn’t only been happening for me.

When I have been doing practice sessions, the Pleaidians have healed a variety of ailments for clients during the consultation.

They are helping to bring an extra dimension to my readings and all my work. Because the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, this is my reason for sharing it with you now.

As channelling can sometimes be something a little ‘out there,’ I didn’t want this to alienate you, but with the shift in consciousness that is happening on our planet, I wanted to share it with you to show you that if you are seeking more in your life, it is out there if you ask and prepare yourself to receive!

Through the energies of the Pleaidians and the channelling, you now get an enhanced version of Barbara!

From time to time I will share more about what’s been happening as I continue to keep an open mind and tune into these new and uplifting frequencies.

Scorpio Full Moon – Let me share a secret with you

On April 22nd, we have a Scorpio Full Moon at 2 degrees.

Scorpio encourages you to focus on your inner world. The more you search for happiness outside of you, the more it eludes you.

Scorpio rules the underworld, the darkness, crisis. Often from your hardest times you emerge better and stronger than you were before. Pluto, ruler of Scorpio is all about transforming yourself.Your biggest fears may come up for healing. Go into the darkness. Don’t be afraid of it.  

Many of you have observed my transformation over the last few months. Has it been easy?? NO! There are many days when it is very difficult, some days when the pain feels unbearable, when it’s quite frightening, but as I keep releasing layer after layer of stuff, I feel a new lightness of being that is quite magical.  

Intimacy, surrender and releasing are Scorpio keywords.

So now, quaking in my boots again, I am going to take another risk and share something very personal with you. For many years I used to have colonic hydrotherapy very regularly, sometimes even every month. It was always stressful and I never fully relaxed, no matter how well I knew the therapist.It had been 4 years and with all the stress of the break up of my important relationship, the move of country and physical changes, I knew that my body would benefit from a colonic. The usual fears began to surface. How to find somewhere in Greece that I could trust? The internet showed me a place in the centre of town and with great trepidation I made an appointment. Now that I am learning how to surrender, to relax, to release, I asked my guides to show me how to apply this to every area of my life including this colonic.I asked the therapist not to talk to me and to allow me to relax and breathe during the session. MY GREATEST FEAR is to have an accident and not be able to make it to the bathroom. And guess what? That’s exactly what happened!! In 20 years of colonics, I never had the slightest blip, but this time, my body took over. I was in agony, nearly passing out with pain, in a cold sweat, and there was no way I could get off that table. So it all came out!! My Libra sensitivity doesn’t like sharing the coarser aspects of life, but since this is a Scorpio Full Moon, I hope that you will understand.

The therapist was just lovely about everything telling me that there was no problem at all. In fact, it was quite an intimate moment and she told me she felt privileged to be a part of it.   

What is your biggest fear? Can you surrender and release?

I can honestly tell you that it’s really liberating!!  Venus conjunct Uranus in Aries square to Pluto at the time of this Full Moon, is asking you to become more intimate with yourself.

How often do you touch yourself gently, with affection?Do you stroke your hair, are you gentle with your body when you are in the shower?As I write this, I realise this could be taken in an erotic way, but that is not my intention! I am merely wanting to make you aware of treating yourself lovingly. Since my transformational kick up the butt from Pluto and Uranus, I am appreciating all the little things about my body. I love brushing my fingers through my hair, the softness, and it’s so soothing.Yes, I do have hanging skin – and can I love that too? It’s taken quite a while, and I do have my off days, but for the most part, I even love the wrinkly skin!Of course, there’s much, much more to share and that’s all going into my book about personal transformation with the help of Pluto and Uranus!
