Gemini Full Moon December 2016 – Reason to Smile

On December 13th / 14th, we have a Full Moon at 22 degrees and 25 minutes of Gemini.

GEMINI reminds us that nothing is fixed, you can change, you can adapt, you can create whatever you want if you are willing to look at your life from a new perspective. 

Gemini shows us that it’s not worth getting stuck on something that’s not working e.g. a relationship, finding a particular type of job, but that there’s a whole world out there waiting for us, and if one thing isn’t happening, why not try something else?

The Sun is conjunct to Saturn in Sagittarius at the time of this Full Moon bringing out the contrast between rigidity and flexibility. Wherever it falls in your chart will show you where you may need to lighten up, to find ways of freeing yourself from heavy responsibilities and duties.

For example, when I am on the bus or the tram, and I notice an old person getting on and there are no seats left, I immediately ask a young person who is glued to their mobile phone to please stand up and let the elderly person sit down. 

Many people have serious faces that look quite impenetrable. I often hesitate before speaking to someone who is looking particularly serious, but with this Full Moon coming up, I am consciously reaching out and smiling to complete strangers. What is the worst that can happen? They ignore me. So what? In true Gemini fashion, I just say to myself ‘next!’ 

In the outdoor gym, I often seen nice looking men fiercely concentrating on their workout. Instead of avoiding contact, I make it a point to chat them up and it makes exercising a whole lot more fun!

What can you do lighten up?
 

GEMINI is a very childlike sign, and often people with lots of Gemini in their charts never really grow up. How can you lighten up and give yourself permission to be silly on occasion?

I’ve  done that in my latest video all about this Full Moon by sharing how I see the aspects musically. I decided to express myself with all my heart and hopefully you will experience the joy I felt while making it for you.

With a beautiful Grand Trine in Air signs at the time of this Full Moon, you may get the answers to some difficult questions. 
For example, I couldn’t understand why I was feeling so upset and out of sorts one afternoon. Then I realised!
Someone I met recently, who is becoming a lovely friend, asked me to do her astrology chart for her. I readily agreed, in my true Libran, ‘let me please you’ manner – and then realised that her expectation was that I do it in person. 

For the last 10 years, I have found it much easier to do readings either on Skype or on the phone. That way, I have all my charts around me, everything I need on my computer to refer to, and that works for me.
No wonder I was feeling uncomfortable and ill at ease when I had agreed to compromise something of great importance to me.
Often, speaking out is not easy. Indeed, Ellen de Generes was recently awarded the Medal of Freedom for the way in which she spoke out and as a result of her bravery, many others have benefited.

New Moon in Libra, September 30th / October 1st – Meet your Soulmate

On September 30th / October 1st, we have a New Moon at 8 degrees Libra.

This is an extremely positive New Moon bringing in a breath of fresh air after all the challenging eclipses and mutable energies.
Venus, Libra’s ruler is trine to Neptune in Pisces. You may attract your soul mate, find deep spiritual love and bring more romance into your life.
The Sun and Moon are conjunct Jupiter bringing exciting new opportunities for growth, studying, and long-distance travel.
Jupiter is all about wisdom. What have you learned through the challenges you have encountered in your relationships?

I spent the week with a delightful Piscean friend recently, and with all my Libra planets and all her Piscean ones, we were constantly trying to please one another. Conversations went like this:
‘Would you like to prepare dinner now?’ ‘Yes, if you would.’ ‘Shall we go for a walk in the countryside?’ ‘Yes, that would be lovely, if you’d like it too.’ ‘Yes, I would.’ ‘Are you sure, we can go a bit later on if you’d prefer?’
It’s quite hilarious seeing the characteristics of the signs play out in your life.

Solar Eclipse in Virgo, September 1st, 2016

On September 1st, we have a powerful New Moon Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees Virgo.  
 
The aspects at the time of this Eclipse remind me of the opening of Charles Dickens’ novel, A Tale of Two Cities:

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us… 
How are you perceiving your world?
Two opposing types of aspects are happening:
DARKNESS: The T-square with Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Sun and Moon is a vortex of potential drama, fearmongering and negativity.
LIGHT: The conjunction of Mercury with Jupiter and Venus in Libra sees the higher, bigger perspective and focuses on bringing more love and light to every situation, no matter how challenging it may appear.
Which one will you choose?
Are you allowing your outer world to disrupt your inner peace?

Saturn conjunct Mars could bring situations that are potentially frustrating and might test your patience. As it is square to Neptune, people may say one thing one day and then change their mind the next day.

I observed myself starting to get frustrated with the person at the call centre of my bank who was giving me completely different information than the person I spoke to the previous day. Remember to breathe and allow whatever is unfolding before you just to ‘be.’ If you can do this, you’ll maintain your inner peace and thus prevent outer circumstances from upsetting your inner world.

With Mercury retrograde conjunct to Jupiter, instead of getting sucked into the drama, you can choose a positive outlook and see whatever is unfolding in your life from a larger perspective and not get lost in the everyday details.

Mercury is retrograde until September 22nd, and with seven planets in mutable signs, you may find that you are not able to firm up your plans just yet. Being flexible and inviting change are ways of dealing with this energy in a positive way.

The advantage with so many mutable planets is that you can also change your mind more easily. If you find yourself getting into a negative spiral, and you feel your energy level dropping, distract yourself and find something positive to focus upon.

Venus is in Libra offering harmony and peace. If you look for it, you’ll find it even in the most extreme situations.

Aquarius Full Moon August 18th 2016

On August 18th, we have a Full Moon that is almost a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius at 25 degrees. It’s heralding the eclipse season which officially starts on September 1st with the Solar Eclipse in Virgo. Expect some BIG CHANGES! 
 
Aquarius is all about BEING YOURSELF!! Not only is the Sun in Aquarius, but it is trine to Uranus and the Moon is sextile to Uranus making this an extra-special time to awaken, to see the world differently and to stop worrying what others think.

In my last newsletter, I asked you whether you would prefer the channeling videos to be on a separate channel to the astrology ones. The overwhelming vote was to keep everything TOGETHER.

Neptune is square to Saturn, sometimes causing issues with water. My hot water boiler suddenly sprang a leak covering my entire bathroom with boiling hot water. Luckily, I managed to turn the mains off and the plumber arrived shortly afterwards.

Perhaps it’s a new romance, a change encounter, a business idea with masses of potential that suddenly starts to move forward. You begin to meet ‘just the right people’ to move everything forward.

New Moon in Leo, August 2nd, 2016 | Loving You

On August 2nd we have a New Moon at 10 degrees Leo with many planets in Fire signs.
FIRE is ACTION, EXCITEMENT, INSPIRATION!
This quote by Jay Griffiths, author, aptly describes the energy of Leo the LION:
‘All humans are essentially wild creatures and hate confinement. We need what is wild, and we thrill to it, our wildness bubbling over with an anarchic joie de vivre….The more suffocatingly enclosed we are – tamed by television, controlled by mortgages and bureaucracy – the louder our wild genes scream in aggression, anger and depression.
 
With no planets in AIR signs, how about ignoring that voice in your head that keeps telling you that you cannot do it and going with your wild side??
Each zodiac sign rules a particular body part and Leo rules the heart. 
Recent research shows the heart as the most powerful electrical and magnetic field generator in the human body. Although the brain does hold its own electromagnetic field, it pales in comparison to the field strength of the heart. Studies show that the heart is 100,000 times electrically stronger and 5,000 times magnetically stronger than the brain.

The heart is the first organ to function after conception. Within about 20 days after conception, the heart starts to function, but the brain does not function until after roughly 90 days. This information tells us that the brain is possibly secondary to the heart.

What can you do to open your heart at the time of this New Moon?
Saturn is square to Neptune bringing up issues of boundaries. Are your boundaries clear or are they fuzzy? Are people stepping over your boundaries? If so, how can you communicate from your heart while at the same time being clear about what works for you?
This is the challenge of the New Moon in Leo.
New Moons always give you an opportunity to do something new. The Fire signs are bold, daring and courageous. What can you do to add spice to your life?
I took a risk by publishing a video of Summer Bacon, my wonderful channeling teacher and myself having a conversation that we weren’t aware was being recorded! 
At first, we both wanted to edit out the parts we felt made us look silly, but in the end, we decided that if we were discussing channeling – which is all about being vulnerable and surrendering – we had to set the example and not shy away from people possibly rejecting or turning away from us.
Why is it that OUTTAKES are so fascinating? Because it’s when we make mistakes that shows our humanity. We are always trying to hold things together, keep the status quo. How about allowing yourself to be SEEN this month?
Uranus is trine to Venus bringing surprise encounters, exciting new liaisons, sudden meetings with interesting people.
What can you do that brings some FIRE and COLOUR into your life?
Feeling FREE and having a certain ‘joie de vivre’ is the key to good health and happiness.
I am reminded of my beautiful osteopath who was born before the war and who still practices her profession with great passion and joy. I asked her what is the secret to her youth and her strength. She said she derives JOY from the SIMPLEST things in life. Where can you find JOY today??

New Moon in Gemini – Say Something I’m Giving Up on You

On June 4th / 5th we have a New Moon in Gemini at 14 degrees 

 
Venus is conjunct this New Moon asking you to communicate with LOVE. 

The challenging aspect is a Mutable T square to Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune.

Let’s see how you can use these aspects to your advantage.

The OPPOSITION TO SATURN is asking you to concentrate your attention in your relationships. When you are with someone, give them your full focus. Try to break the habit of thinking about something else, a meeting you need to go to, an email you need to write etc, but instead, even if it’s just for a half hour, give that person ALL of you.

You’ll be surprised at how much this can improve your relationships.

Saturn in Sagittarius is reminding you to share what is important to you, and Venus in Gemini is asking you to be mindful of speaking in a loving way.

All too often we walk away from a relationship without ever speaking what is in our heart. Can you make it a daily habit to express something verbally to one new person?

Many relationships are ended by text or email without the courtesy of a phone call or better still, meeting in person. This New Moon is giving you a new opportunity to bring a more personal and loving touch to your relationships.

I make it my business to tell my friends regularly: I love you, I am so grateful to have you in my life, I loved our chat today, etc. The opposition is asking you to become aware of how you are seeing your relationships. What are your typical behaviour patterns, practice focusing on what IS working rather than what isn’t and watch your relationships will blossom and grow.  

 
The SQUARE TO JUPITER may show you that perhaps you aren’t really listening to the people in your life, or you may feel as though you aren’t being heard. The key, again, is to make sure that you REALLY LISTEN and don’t jump to conclusions before you have truly heard the other person.
Often we are ready with our comments and we butt in far too soon, giving the person a feeling of being rushed or just not valued, and this creates tension and disharmony in relationships.

With all these mutable planets, this is an amazing time for great change that can happen in the twinkling of an eye. If you are prepared to be flexible and to speak from your heart, you can transform your life completely during 2016.

The SQUARE TO NEPTUNE will encourage you to find the balance between honest reality and adorning the truth to make things sound better than they actually are. If you have made a mistake, own up! If you don’t know the answer to a question, say ‘I don’t know!’  People appreciate  

With a strong focus on Gemini and Sagittarius, you are being encouraged to examine your thinking patterns. When you send a text or an email, are you sending it with a thought of love? Your intentions create the kinds of results you experience. Why not try this for a month and see what effect it has on your relationships? 
This New Moon reminds me of the song: Say Something I’m Giving up on You. My friend told me a very sad story of loving a man so very much when she was in her twenties and she never told him she loved him. She thought he had a girlfriend and she held it in for many decades. They recently reconnected and she did finally tell him and he asked her – why didn’t you tell me then? That could have changed everything because I loved you too but I was afraid of telling you because your dad was my boss. It turned out that he didn’t have a girlfriend at the time either.

All those years, and the love was unexpressed. To whom could you say ‘I love you,’ so that it doesn’t stagnate inside.

This New Moon is a great opportunity to say that you care, to say when something feels good, to say what really matters to you.   

Sometimes it involves a great risk. For me, it felt like a huge risk to tell you about the channelling, but I did it anyway. I’d like to say a VERY BIG THANK YOU to so many of you who emailed me with supportive and encouraging feedback. Your encouragement helps me to keep going and to keep on opening up. I would still do it anyway, but knowing that so many of you are by my side really does help!!
