PLUTO / SATURN CONJUNCTION January 12^th 2020

I have had a lot of messages and comments from people who have been feeling quite concerned about some of the aspects that have been talked about in the astrological community, especially the Saturn Pluto conjunction coming up at the beginning of 2020.

For those of you who were born in 1982 – 83 and 1947- 48, you will have a Saturn Pluto conjunction in your natal chart.  This is extremely powerful. Our world is more connected than ever. Our systems of government, the economy, health, education, are all in the process of huge change.

What astrology can show us is a roadmap to guide us through the cycle we are coming into both personally and globally, and how to use it in an empowering way.

I find it disheartening when astrology is sometimes used to fearmonger and to create panic. Astrology, in my view, helps to shine a light upon our path, to facilitate our journey on earth.

We are going through a huge shift and similar planetary configurations to those coming up in 2020, have occurred only twice in the last 2000 years.

It will undoubtedly bring chaos. Pluto, the so-called dwarf planet, was discovered in 1930, the time of the splitting of the atom when we moved into a nuclear age. We now have the power to destroy ourselves completely. Prior to that, there were world wars, but we didn’t have the ability to annihilate ourselves.

This is a huge time on planet earth. The conjunction of Pluto and Saturn gives you the opportunity to find your personal power, and as a collective a chance to use our power in a positive way. Are we going to continue to use it to destroy, to spend our money on military and fighting one another?

Or are we going to find ways to build new structures that will be constructive for all of us? The choice is ours.

Capricorn is associated with governments and big corporations. Many of these large organisations are getting stronger, and those that are past their sell by date are fighting to keep their power.

Notice where there are structures in our world that are hanging on for dear life. Yet they are coming to an end.

Look at the major religions. For approximately the last 5000 years, the religions have been largely masculine, patriarchal. With the South Node in Capricorn, there is a strong pull to continue this lineage. However, the North Node in Cancer is pulling us towards the integration of the feminine, and the sacred.

For those of you who are alive right now, this is a wonderful opportunity for transformation and for awakening. We are moving away from the focus on the masculine, the linear energy. With the South Node in Capricorn at the same time of the Pluto Saturn conjunction, we have great potential for planetary transformation.

Many people say – what can one person achieve? You, as one person now are deeply connected with the whole. We are not separate. We are moving towards Divine Will. The balancing of my will and Divine Will.

Are we going to build economies that are just and fair?

How are we going to create these new nurturing structures?

Many old structures are likely to crumble. Many of them do need to go, don’t they? Are you entirely happy with your government, the health service, the economy, our earth, how we are treating our planet and its inhabitants? Do you sense there are changes to come?

Pluto and Saturn and the South Node in Capricorn, is the most wonderful opportunity to look at the areas we fear, the dramas – where are you getting sucked into drama?

It is a time for power and how you use your personal power. How consciously you use it. Are you being aggressive? I notice it in myself. On a very crowded bus and people are piling on and someone is banging me with a rucksack and an elbow, and I feel a certain anger coming up inside me. I don’t like it. Can you become aware of a build of your frustrations? Can you use it constructively?

The potential with these aspects brings great hope for the future: more and more people are living to well over 100 years, strong, with all their abilities, not tottery and doddery. Scientists predict that 120 years will be the new norm.

Pluto has to do with the miniaturisation of technology. Some experts say that we will have nanobots that will be inserted into the body and will clean the blood, dealing with viruses and bacteria, keeping you healthy all the time, despite what you eat!

The north node in Cancer encourages us to bring the feminine energies into our world and our structures.  Huge changes are afoot with many of the major religions: for the first time in over 600 years, there are 2 Popes. Continued conflict and unrest is going on in the Middle East with Palestine and the Israel. Even the Dalai Lama has said there will not be another Dalai Lama.

We will be looking at our use of TIME. Saturn will redefine time. What are you being too rigid about? Wherever this aspect falls in your chart will show you where structures that don’t support you need to come down and it brings an opportunity for a rebirth, both personally and for our planet.

We are moving into the Age of Aquarius out of the Age of Pisces. Pisces is duality with two fish going in opposite directions. The Age of Aquarius is about the end of duality and bringing things together with the emergence of a New Human Being.

I hope this article, despite the challenges ahead, gives you a new and more constructive way to view these upcoming aspects.
